Service Project for January!

Join us January 14th for the beginning of the biggest food drive ever! Ok, maybe not the biggest food drive ever, but we are hoping to collect more food than we have ever before at CRC! Forward will be a big part of that by preparing the collection bags in advance on Tuesday the 14th, followed by a re-grouping at Starbucks.

Forecast

In the case of rain for tomorrow’s beach cookout (TUES 02JULY), we’ll meet for a good, ole fashioned COOK-IN @crcumc in the Connection Center.

If it’s raining at or after 5:00pm then head directly to @crcumc.

Calling All Difference-Makers

22 10 2012

INVISIBLE CHILDREN ROAD TEAM presents a One-Night-Only event at CrossRoad Church.

Tuesday, November 6th   @6pm

Human trafficking. Displaced/Homeless children and families. Hunger. War. Children soldiers. Tragically, it’s all here… and will be focused during this ‘one-night-only’ event. Awareness is the first step of getting involved and making a difference in both a present and eternal way.

This screening includes the premiere of IC’s newest fall documentary “MOVE”, a Ugandan speaker who will share about their lives and the affect the conflict has had on them, and a few minutes for questions to be answered.

Invisible Children is a non-profit organization empowering individuals to be more passionate servants to the world around us. They do this through their mission to bring a permanent end to Central Africa’s longest-running war and rehabilitate conflict-affected regions.

***Child Care available this night. RSVP kids w/ lance@crcumc.org
